SERVICES PROVIDED

I offer a variety of services based on the individual needs of the children, adolescents, young adults, and families I serve. I offer individual, group, family therapy sessions and parent coaching sessions. I also work closely with schools and other providers to collaborate and provide consistent, helpful services.

New Moms Group

Weekly sessions include guided conversation and occasional guest speakers, giving the group space to explore topics that are meaningful and supportive during the postpartum months.

Facilitated by Amy Pappas, LSW, a licensed therapist and mom with a focus on supporting women through early motherhood.

Sessions typically meet on Mondays or Tuesdays, either at Bubbles Academy (West Town at 11:30-12:30) or at the Lakeview (12:00-1:00) office.

Cost: $200 for the full 6-week session

Individual Therapy and Group Therapy

Individual sessions are customized to the needs and strengths of each client. I utilize a variety of modalities and techniques to connect to my clients including: Psychodynamic approaches, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), etc

Group psychotherapy is a unique form of therapy in which a small number of people meet together under the guidance of a professionally trained therapist. During this time, group members are able to increase their social development skills and also help others develop their skills as well. I have a passion for group therapy and have created numerous groups focused on a large range of topics including girls groups, self-esteem group, social skills groups, etc. If I have at least three group members, I can create a group of any topic and focus that is requested.

Family Therapy

I believe that working children and teens with their parents inevitably helps families. If your child is behaving better at school and home, the family is calmer. If your child is less anxious at home and school, the family can relax too. If your child or teen is working on their struggles, the family is improving every day. We also offer family sessions and parenting sessions to solidify the work we do.

Clinical Consultation & Supervision for Therapists

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I offer clinical supervision and professional consultation for therapists at various stages of their careers. Whether you are seeking licensure supervision, case consultation, or support in growing your clinical confidence, I provide a collaborative and thoughtful space for your professional development.

Parent Coaching and School Consultation

Parent coaching is a process that gives parents the opportunity to realize and incorporate powerful skills and techniques that promote a calmer and happier household. Through parent coaching sessions, we identify challenges you are facing and create a plan to address these challenges through sessions both with your child and without your child. I often attend school staffings and meetings with you to walk you through the process as well.

I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and can accept many insurance plans as an out-of-network provider
